  • State of the art ICU, advanced laboratory, and research unit inaugurated in Guwahati by CM
  • New emergency life support center and CT Scan machine unveiled

Six new projects for the Department of Health and Welfare, Assam and the Department of Medical Education and Research were officially launched in Guwahati on Monday by the Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.

During a ceremony held at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) auditorium in Guwahati, the Assam Chief Minister officially launched the projects in the presence of State Health Minister Keshab Mahanta.

"The ICU project, a state-of-the-art laboratory at Guwahati Medical College Hospital and a multi-purpose research project was officially dedicated to the public today as an important step towards improving healthcare services in the state," said CM Biswa.

National Center for Emergency Life Support Skills, GMCH; Laboratory of Molecular Oncology, State Oncology Institute GMCH; Multidisciplinary Research Unit, GMCH; 32 Slice CT Scan Machine and Asset Management Portal for Medical Colleges inaugurated by Chief Minister of Assam.
